Served as Interim CFO to support a successful balance sheet transaction that provided additional capital and facilitated a turnaround of the business. Oversaw all cash management and financial reporting functions, developed business unit profitability reporting and weekly liquidity forecasting, managed vendor negotiations, and led all company-side diligence efforts.

Managed interim FP&A and Corporate Development duties to support an operational turnaround of the business as well as a restructuring of its capital structure. Successfully improved EBITDA from $10M to $46M that ultimately resulted in a successful sale of the business. Developed multinational business segmentation reporting for 16 legal entities across 9 currencies, led the annual budgeting and multi-year forecast processes, supported transaction diligence, and partnered with management to improve sales & operations and supply chain planning processes.

Led finance functions and supported the restructuring process of the PE-backed business. Developed liquidity forecasting, analyzed local market profitability, evaluated strategic alternatives, and supported transaction diligence resulting in a successful value maximizing sale and lender recoveries.

Served as lead advisor for the new CFO, assisting with all daily duties and providing ad-hoc operational support to the COO. Led the construction of internal financial statements, development of the annual budget, and refinancing of the company’s ABL facility. Established material requirements planning processes, supported new ERP implementation, assisted with operational KPI system implementation and benchmarking, and developed an interactive bill of materials tool for over 700 finished goods comprised of over 5,000 SKUs to enable pricing optimization and cost analysis.

Developed a turnaround plan in collaboration with management for a PE-backed company to secure lender financing. Built multi-year forecast model for business transformation of North American and European operations which included over $20M of identified EBITDA improvement opportunities.

Acted as financial advisor and managed all Finance & Accounting functions for an independent mortgage lender through a comprehensive restructuring process, resulting in the sale of substantially all the company’s assets.

Supported CEO and CFO with key strategic initiatives including liquidity forecasting development, cash management, assessment of annual budget, and lender reporting.
