Laura’s industry experience spans automotive, aerospace and defense, food manufacturing and distribution, retail and consumer products, travel & leisure, franchise and fast casual restaurants, higher education, healthcare, and IT, amongst others.

Developed plan to rationalize SKUs and streamline procurement processes, as well as monetize noncore products. Prepared short and long term cashflow forecasting, led negotiations with key customers and lenders, and facilitated due diligence activities with the buyer. Company was sold with a 30% premium over its stock price.
Served as lender advisor to the largest protein distributor in the country. Primary focus areas included evaluation and recommendations regarding cost reduction initiatives, evaluation of customer profitability, review and monitoring of cashflow forecasts and evaluation of strategic initiatives. Instrumental in pursuit of nonoperating assets which provide material recovery to senior secured lenders.
CRO to a multinational automotive supplier leading commercial negotiations with key customers, operational cost reduction initiatives, and sale efforts for certain divisions. The engagement resulted in substantial price increases for all major customers, cost reduction actions which eliminated negative margins at facilities, and full recovery to the senior secured lenders.
CRO of publicly traded alternative energy provider that served municipalities, higher education institutions, and key international partners. Duties included cost reduction identification and implementation, negotiations with key constituents, and refinancing of certain credit facilities. Efforts resulted in substantial cost reductions and stabilization of the operating performance, joint development agreement with Fortune 100 partner, and substantial increase in stock price.
Joint advisor to a leading Big 10 University in its acquisition of a global for-profit higher education institution. Led all due diligence, developed joint operating and post-merger integration plan, and coordinated with both executive management teams to effectuate board of director support for the transaction.
CRO to 2nd largest franchisee of a national fast food brand, with 135 locations across multiple states and the USVI. Prepared unit profitability analyses, led negotiations with the franchisor, led lease renegotiations, and oversaw the sale process. The Company was successfully sold, post EBITDA improvement, in a Chapter 11 363 sale.
