Scott Webb is a Partner at MERU, where he advises clients across the capital structure on strategic alternatives, M&A, capital raising, and recapitalizations. He brings more than 20 years of experience, creativity, and deep execution expertise, with over 65 completed transactions. Scott focuses on helping companies and stakeholders resolve complex situations, align on value-maximizing paths forward, and execute high-touch processes that reposition businesses for long-term success.
Scott has advised public and private companies, management teams, boards, private equity firms, lenders, investors, trustees, and creditor committees across a broad range of in- and out-of-court engagements. His work includes operational and financial restructurings, §363 sale processes, balance-sheet recapitalizations, liquidity-driven divestitures, liability management efforts, and growth capital raises. He has also provided valuations, fairness opinions, and expert testimony in bankruptcy court. His industry experience includes transportation, healthcare, building products, energy, manufacturing, consumer products, media, and real estate.

Prior to MERU, Scott served as Partner and Head of Special Situations Investment Banking at Carl Marks Advisors, where he led complex restructurings and special situations across a wide variety of sectors.
Scott earned a BS in Business Administration from the University of Vermont, is a FINRA Registered Representative (Series 7, 79, 63), and is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
